Attending weddings as a Mother

Wedding season; what to wear.

Hey beautiful ladies….
Wedding bells everywhere,no? Whose wedding it is today? Cousin or a family friend? Or it’s yours, oh no it’s my sister’s…. Well no matter whose wedding it is you need clothes and alot of clothes because you can’t wear the same lehnga you wore last week because everyone was there too,oh no what to do now?
Mix and match and if it’s not helpful either then go get your mothers trunk of her shadi clothes and boom you are ready to go. All the kaam and gota is in fashion again, all you have to do is maybe change the shalwar into trouser or you can turn that beautiful dupatta into shirt. Choice is yours.
And the saree that is rotting in your wardrobe, get it out. Sarees are perfect and can be worn on any event either your event is in day time or night time. And if you have already worn that saree everywhere or just not in the mood to wear it, let’s convert it into a pishwas or a beautiful maxi. The upper part is already done so all you have to get it stitched and you can adjust the borders on sleeves as well.
And if you are a mom and your baby will be accompanying you, then make sure the baby’s dressing should be as comfortable as possible because a cranky baby will not let you enjoy the event. Make them wear frocks(not very fancy kaam type but a little casual), fancy tees with embroidered jeans will keep them comfy. Accessorize them accordingly, don’t overload them with jewelry. Keep it minimal and never forget to bring your baby’s favorite snacks with you, trust me life saver hack.
