Baby shopping
It’s not easy to shop for babies and specially if it’s your first one. You will be getting a-lot of suggestions and a-lot of things will attract you but you should listen to me on this and you will not regret. So let’s start.
- Clothes: Never ever buy a-lot of clothes for your baby specially in the starting days because the are going to grow up so fast that they will probably won’t fit in after a month or two. So buy wisely. Try to buy the pajama suits as they will be comfortable for baby because the clip on the bell button will already be bothering them so try to keep them comfy. And don’t forget to buy the caps (cotton caps for summer and woolen for winters). Buy a-lot of bibs as you are gonna need them for a long period. And mittens too if you are expecting in winters.
- Towels and changing sheets are a MUST. Don’t forget them. One pair will be enough for the start. You can always buy more later.
- Swaddlers: if you want to swaddle the baby in a traditional way then these are must for you. Buy muslin clothes as they are very soft and easy to manage. There are ready made swaddlers in market too.
- Baby bather: This thing is a life saver in the start as it is very hard to handle a baby and give them a bath but you are probably not gonna need it after 8 or 9 months as the baby will be too big for it. I bought the Mustela baby bather, you can go for any company.
- Bassinet/swing: Another lifesaver for me atleast but again you are not gonna use it after 6 months as baby won’t like laying down a lot. But in the start if the baby get used to this, it’s gonna help you a lot. I bought the Mustela 3 in 1 deluxe multifunctional bassinet and it has a lot of good features. You can go for a simple rocker too.
- Baby seat: Another must for babies and some of these can later be used a toddler car seat. So a very good investment if you love traveling.
